I attended a private Commando Fitness session that Tom Wyles took at a friend’s house Thursday 27th May. Actually I was a little reluctant to go, but already I feel improvements. I’m much more alert at work (no bad thing) feel great and happier with myself. I can’t recommend Tom Wyles’ Commando Fitness training highly enough. He is also a top bloke and one of Britain’s finest. If you’re unfit or overweight and think it’s not for you, think again. The sessions I’ve attended are great and cater for all levels of fitness, plus you also get support and encouragement from the rest of the group. It’s becoming addictive and I’m getting fitter.

I have struggled with my weight and confidence for as long as I can remember and exercising has never been a strong point for me. So when a friend suggested I give bootcamp a try, that's exactly what I did. I had a baby 2 years ago so my weight was a real issue for me. I won't lie to you, the first time was very hard and very tiring, yet after just one session I was hungry for more!! I couldn't have picked a harder and more challenging fitness regime but all I can say it is so much more value for money and fun than standing in a gym watching everyone pose! All shapes, sizes and abilities come to bootcamp...and I can honestly say that after only attending 4 sessions, I have already had comments about my "baby weight" coming off, so if you're looking for a fun way to get fit and lose weight with all the variety you could want, look no further!!! Everyone is so friendly and Tom is so full of energy and motivation and he is always there encouraging you along, even when you're at the bottom of a steep hill and have no idea how you are going to make it to the top, he's there to push you one step further!

I was stuck in a dull gym routine, and came along to the free trial to see if I could get some new ideas and push myself a bit more. It was brilliant and I signed up straight away. I have noticed in only a few sessions my fitness levels and strength have really improved, and the pace of Commando Fitness honestly does suit all. It has given me the push I needed, the hour does fly by, and the group always have time for a bit of a laugh too! I recommend it highly to all who want to try something new.

I have been attending boot camps as well as having 1:1 personal training sessions with Commando Fitness since early this year. These sessions have not only improved my overall fitness but have also given me the motivation to get involved in other forms of exercise such as running and exercise classes. The boot camps are great fun and a perfect way of getting outside in the fresh air for an hour whilst exercising - I have taken several friends along and would recommend them to anyone.

I first heard about Commando fitness when stuck in a traffic jam behind a truck in camouflage saying 'bride bootcamp' I thought 'is that what I think it is?' so I went home and looked at the website from my sofa (I might add my favourite place!) I saw that this guy (Tom) was encouraging us girls that were to be spliced to get fit so that they look their best on their big day, and here I was a perfect candidate 5'2" and weighing about 12 stone, definitely would look better if a couple of stone lighter. Now it took me a about a week after sending Tom (a marine!!!) an email to make my decision to actually do this bootcamp thing but it has been one of the best decisions I've ever made! except for getting married of course? It wasn't easy at first as I was the typical couch potato. I never did any exercise and ate a fairly healthy diet but this did include a few puddings if I took the fancy. At the beginning it was hard to make changes to my diet, my routine and I did experience an emotional roller coaster of feelings, such as feeling inadequate, puffed out and purple but to then feeling triumphant and on top of the world when I achieved my first hill run and got to the top without stopping. I am now 3 months in and have more confidence than when I was 25 (I'm now 38) and for the first few weeks couldn't stop talking about Tom much to the annoyance of my h2B. But Tom and his fitness regimes, have toned my thighs, flattened my stomach improved my all over body shape and I feel great too. I have loads of fun in both 1:1 sessions or with the others in bootcamp, there is great support and banter that make the hard work so much fun and wanting more! Once my wedding is over and I am back from honeymoon I have big plans to increase my fitness and keep going I'm going to be a new fit and happy me!

A friend persuaded me to try Commando Fitness, it's not something I would normally go for but found I loved it! Everyone is friendly and supportive. I have complete confidence in the instructors who know how to make me push myself that little bit further each time. My stamina has increased which is my main aim, I've also improved muscle tone and my energy levels have sky-rocketed. My self-confidence really benefits from the improvements I've seen and felt in my body and from the camaraderie at bootcamp. I never thought I'd look forward to spending Saturday mornings doing sit-ups.

I considered myself fit when I contacted Commando Fitness, I was training regularly and vigorously. I thought I had focus and drive but was lacking variety. I couldn’t have been more wrong!
Not only has Commando Fitness introduced a completely new and comprehensive set of exercises to deal with the monotony of training alone, my sessions are focused specifically on my personal goals and aspirations which has enabled me to find an inner drive and enthusiasm that I had no idea was there. I have met all the goals and targets I set myself 4 months ago, have measurably more energy day to day and I feel fantastic.
I participate in group bootcamp sessions and have individual sessions, both of which cater for my needs 100%. I have trained with personal trainers before and for me what sets Commando Fitness apart from the others is that the trainers are with you every step of the way, literally. My trainer does every single exercise I do which is an enormous motivating factor.
I cannot recommend Commando Fitness highly enough.

I was watching the Farnham carnival when I first saw the Commando Fitness truck passing through with what appeared to be, just normal people, pulling the truck across town. That got my attention! I instantly took note of the web address, and called Tom the next day. He invited me for a free trial, and that was it. I was hooked.
There are essentially three main reasons, why I very much look forward to the training sessions. Firstly, Tom and his team work very hard to keep motivation high, and are extremely professional, knowledgeable, likable and very fit! Secondly, there is such a mix of fitness and ability in the training session, yet there is a genuine sense of teamsmanship, and camaraderie. And third, the fitness routines are down-to-earth, no-nonsense, fit-for-purpose exercises that achieve fast results. There are no airs and graces about the sessions, and no gadgets, I go there to get results, and in a very short time, I have seen measurable improvements, in my strength, and cardiovascular performance. This is serious fun. I love it!
